-
What’s Ombre powder Brows? What’s Ombre powder Brows? Ombre brows tattoo, also known as powder brows, shading or shadow, is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the appearance of the eyebrows by creating a soft, gradient effect that mimics the look of filled-in makeup. This innovative technique involves depositing pigment into the skin using a specific tattooing device, resulting in beautifully defined and long-lasting brows. Recommended for any skin type.
-
What’s Feather touch brows?Machine hair strokes technique mimicking and following your natural hairs direction. Not recommended for oily skin
-
What’s Combination brows?Combination of hair strokes and shading technique. Not recommended for oily skin.
-
What’s Lip Blush?Lip Blush is a tattoo procedure that helps to enhance the shape and colour of your lips. This procedure is meant to accentuate a natural warmth/pinkness to the lips, this is not a replacement for makeup (lipsticks and liners). This procedure can be especially appealing to clients who have pale and/or shapeless lips, or clients who wish to undergo "Lip Neutralisation" to add warmth to lips that are cool toned and/or dark.
-
Can I choose the colour and shape?Yes, during the consultation, we discuss your preferences and customise the colour and shape to complement your features and style.
-
How long does cosmetic tattooing last?Any technique require 2 sessions to complete. An Initial Session and a Required Touch Up (within 4-12 weeks). Once both sessions have been completed, The longevity varies but generally lasts between 1 to 3 years on average, before needing another Touch Up. Factors like skin type, lifestyle, age, sun exposure, existing pigment (old tattoos, if any), health and/or compliance with pre and aftercare influence the duration. Some people hold pigment better than others.
-
How long does Lip Blush last?Lip Blush will require 2 sessions to complete (although Lip Neutralisation clients may need more to achieve desired results). An Initial Session and a Required Touch Up 6-12 weeks after the Initial session. Once both sessions have been completed, the results generally last anywhere from 2-3 years on average, before another Touch Up is needed. Retention may vary depending on the client's health, lifestyle, lip care, scarring, existing pigment (old tattoos, if any), age, sun exposure, and/or compliance with Pre-care and Aftercare.
-
Is the procedure painful?Discomfort varies among individuals, but a topical anaesthetic from a compounding pharmacy is applied to minimise any potential pain during the procedure. Most of my clients tend to fall asleep. Lips compared to brows are more sensitive and they do have the potential to swell, whereas eyebrows do not. Most clients claim that this procedure leaves their lips feeling swollen and tender but is not necessarily "painful".
-
How long does Cosmetic tattooing healing process take?Initial healing takes about 1-2 weeks. Full recovery and colour settling may take up to a month. During that time clients will go through a healing/peeling process in which the brows will naturally exfoliate on their own. Please avoid direct contact with water, picking/scratching the brows, and any activities that will cause you to sweat (including working out). Please treat your brows with care and keep them cool, clean, and dry.
-
How long does Lip Blush healing process take?Lips heal fast (approximately 5-7 days) but will require more care and effort from the the client's end to keep them clean and moisturised. Clients must take extra precaution to not disturb the lips and to allow them to heal properly. That means, keeping them moisturised AT ALL TIMES, taking small bites of food, brushing your teeth gently, using straws for beverages, avoiding kissing, touching, licking lips, picking lips, and avoiding big expressions that may tear at your healing lips. I would also like to mention: Although the lips shed their scabs within a matter of days, the colour of the pigment can continue to blossom for up to 6-12 weeks underneath the surface layer of the lips. This is extremely important for Lip Neutralisation clients to understand. Clients with cool/dark toned lips can go through a rollercoaster of colours during the healing process. Darker colours are present in the lips due to melanin production. Melanin rich lips can temporarily have hyper/hypopigmentation during the healing process and will require a lot of patience for the colour to completely develop during the 6-12 weeks. But, as long as the lips have finished shedding, clients can use lipstick to help cover-up this developmental phase.
-
What’s Lip Neutralisation?Lip Neutralisation is a specialised service geared towards individuals who have cool or dark toned lips (dark pink, purple, grey, blue, or dark brown lips) that wish to brighten or add warmth to their lips overall appearance. Depending on the hue, saturation, and value of the lips, more than 2 sessions may be required to help achieve desired results.
-
What can I do to help extend the longevity of my Cosmetic tattoo?Avoid any exfoliants/treatments/sun exposure on the brows. Anything that makes your skin "regenerate" new skin cells is never a good idea for your brow tattoos, as it will accelerate the fading process. However, that doesn't mean you should avoid it altogether, you can still proceed with your facial treatments, just please avoid the brow area. Daily application of sunscreen to the brows (and face) will help prevent sun damage and fading of colour. It will help keep your tattoos looking vibrant for longer.
-
Do I need any maintenance done on my Brows prior to my appointment? We will pre-draw and shape them for you on the day. However if you wish to have this done earlier, please allow at least 48 hours prior to your appointment for any grooming (waxing, threading, tweezing).
-
Can I still wear makeup after the procedure?Yes, you can wear makeup as usual. However, it's essential to follow aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing.
-
I am Pregnant/Breastfeeding, can I have this done? No. Unfortunately we cannot tattoo Pregnant/Lactating women. It is best to wait.
-
I have an event coming up. What will my Brows look like? Should I postpone my procedure until after?Any redness subsides within a few hours. They will be shiny due to the aftercare cream for 1 week. You may have minor scabbing/flaking between days 3 to 7 (depending on how aftercare is followed).
-
I have an existing Tattoo. Can you tattoo over this? Not Always. In this case you can either summit 3 clear photos of your brows to info@luvvi.com.au or txt 0433389299 or book for a cosmetic tattoo consultation where we will asses your existing tattoo followed by a brow design just so we can tell you exactly what’s the best option.
-
I have had my Tattoo done elsewhere, how much will you charge for a touch-up?FULL PRICE, as this often requires more work. Once an existing client at Luvvi touch-ups are cheaper.
-
How much for a touch-up/colour refresh for existing clients?4-12 weeks touch-up is $149 of initial procedure 3-6 months touch up is $250 6-11 months touch up is $350 12-18 months touch up is $400 After 18 months is full price We recommend yearly touch-ups to keep brows looking their best, however Photos of your brows need to be summit prior booking

-

-
Can I wear makeup and shower after eyebrow Lash Lift/Tinting/Hybrid dye/Lamination?It's advisable to avoid makeup, water and steam on the brows and lashes for the first 24 hours to allow the product to fully set.
-
